French Soft Drinks : Citron Pressé

Although France is well-known for its wine, fizzy drinks are becoming more popular. I wanted to talk about the French lemonade drink : Citron Pressé. It is very simple to make, and is served by the glass in most cafes in France. The ingredients for a Citron Pressé are: Ice, Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (2 oz), Cold Water, and Granulated Sugar. Add the ice and lemon juice to the glass. Then, stir in the water and sugar. This French style lemonade is more tart than the traditional American drink, but is still very good.

Here is a list of French vocabulary related to drinks, so you will be able to order at any café in France.
